Parents and students who want to excel, going beyond the minimal State requirements, do well in our Advanced program. This is the same program many licensed drivers sign up for to buffer their driving skills.
This is the program we recommend for most students. This package includes advanced skid training on a closed course.
Students who have a permit and previous driving experience, are fast learners and will get 2 to 3 hours a week of in-car driving practice do well in our Basic course.
Be equipped to drive any car! Stick shift lesson add-on: $75 (Lesson available out of our Redmond or Seattle U-District location.)
Extra lessons, whether required or desired, can be purchased on an individual basis for $59 per hour.
All parents are invited to come and observe at least one of their student's driving lessons.

About Our Company:
Defensive Driving School is one of the largest Commercial Driving Schools in the Northwest and has been a shining example since 1945. We train teens correct driving principles from the beginning of their driving careers as well as fleet Driver Improvement, court-ordered driver improvement and remedial training. Qualified Instructors:
The Defensive Driving School instructors are specially trained to recognize behavioral and perceptual driving problems and remedy them. We don't use simulators in our training because there is no substitute for quality hands-on training. Each teacher is fully licensed in Washington State & further certified as a Defensive Driving Instructor.

The Parent Role:
The best results for successful completion of the Traffic Safety Education (TSE) program depend on student effort combined with the support of the Parents. Parents are encouraged to ride along on at least one in-car lesson to see where they can effectively provide follow-up practice at home. After riding along Parents often comment they had no idea how much more our students are learning compared to other programs they were aware of.
